Luke Gilford’s photography and films have been exhibited around the world; including MoMA in New York and FOAM in Amsterdam, as well as at Sundance NEXT festival. His work provides a poetic and cinematic look into a surreal world, combining a unique visual style with a strong sense of intimacy. This is exemplified by Connected, the short film Luke wrote and directed in 2016, starring Pamela Anderson, Dree Hemingway and featuring Jane Fonda, exploring Luke's ongoing interests in beauty, aging, and technology. The film premiered on VICE and received a Webby award for Best Drama in 2017. Luke has also directed music videos for Christina Aguilera and Troye Sivan and photographed and directed campaigns for Mercedes Benz, Alexander Wang x Magnum and Dom Perignon. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Dazed & Confused, V, and Vogue. Luke loves celebrating all people, and challenging gender, race and beauty stereotypes.
